Cosy, atmospheric, warm, comfortable, lovely room, great staff, great food in a great location with great ski trails. Also has a nice ski stall hut. I have to add some more characters otherwise trip advisor won't accept it - how stupid is that! - The room, location, and staff were wonderful! Under the "Property amenities" section, in "Food and drink," it incorrectly lists: - A coffee shop/café - A restaurant - Coffee and tea in common areas In reality, there is no café or restaurant on the premises. The nearest dining options are a 15-minute drive away. I kindly request that * updates this information to accurately reflect the amenities available at the property. - Fantastic value for price which includes accommodation and three meals (one of which self- pack sandwiches). Daily dinner buffet is delicious and varied and kudos to the chef and kitchen staff for preparing such a varied and nutritious selection of food!
Cross country skiing paradise just outside the lodge - really nice, friendly people staying in the lodge also. Will return! - Via Buro scan brit een rondreis geboekt. Dit was het 1e appartement. Je kan pas inchecken na 16:00, echt niet eerder dus ga wat leuks doen voordat je je meldt bij de receptie.
Wij hebben een rondje gewandeld in Lillehammer en in het parkje wat gegeten. Appartement gebouw C heeft een mooi uitzicht over het dal met een meertje. We hadden een appartement met een 2e verdieping. Voor een vakantie appartement goed ruim en netjes.
Je kunt een leuk rondje wandelen rond het meertje langs de schaapjes, stroompje en klein watervalletje. In de buurt zitten genoeg supermarkten. Prijzen vind ik ongeveer gelijk aan Nederland. Koken kun je prima in het appartement.
Let op de rookmelders zijn super gevoelig. Bij de buren ging hij en dan gaat hij overal. Vanuit Lillehammer hebben wij een mooie wandeling gemaakt in het nationaal park Rondane. Let op, het is ca 2 uur rijden voordat je bij het park bent.
Wij hebben de route genomen naar de Storulfossen. Tussen Oslo en Lillehammer kun je de smaragdmijn bezoeken in Minnesund. Je betaald toegang bij de vriendelijke eigenaresse en als je geen tools bij je hebt krijg je wat van haar (neem gewoon je eigen schep en zeef mee, misschien ook een hamer). We hebben een hele middag op de oever gerommeld met de kinderen.
Heel leuk en aantal mooie kleine stukjes smaragd gevonden. We hebben ook een hele middag rondgelopen in het openluchtmuseum Maihaugen. Neem aan de achterzijde van het park de bosroute en eet je meegenomen lunch in het bos. Ook leuk om te bezoeken maar lastig bereikbaar is de Flokofallet waterval.
De route loopt eerst door het bos en daarna langs een wat schuiner pad het dal in. Daar moet je over twee boomstammen een stroming over (ongeveer tot middel diep) naar de waterval. Of je trekt je schoenen uit en loopt over een ondieper stuk door het water. Mogelijk met hoogwater niet te do en.
Avontuurlijk en mooi. Wij moesten na een paar dagen heel vroeg richting locatie 2. Appartement hebben we ‘s avonds en smorgens aan kant gemaakt en smorgens vroeg de sleutel achter gelaten in de brievenbus bij de receptie. - Helgeopphold med familien to barn, to vokene Fin og koselig liten hytte med god plassutnyttelse. Man kan bestille sluttvask eller vaske selv.
Vi valgte og vaske selv noe som var enkelt grunnet størrelsen på hytten.

- Staff are generally very friendly. Breakfast is great ! Typical Northern Europe shower room layout, it does not really matter to us as we only stayed there for 1 night as a stopover.

- The only way you could stay nearer to the trains would be by sleeping on a platform bench!
This has to be one of the best located stations that I have stayed in, very convenient with an excellent café serving guests and railway travellers with decent food which, for Norway, was reasonably priced. Guests get free tea and coffee too and a great breakfast is included. The room was large (2 beds plus bunk beds!) and overlooked the platform but was silent with no noise at all from the station. There is also a special room available containing a lounge and kitchen which can be used if required - especially useful for longer-term guests as it included a fridge The only downside was that there were no bedside lights which meant that you had to get out of bed to turn off the main light!
Crazy! - This hotel is in Lillehammer station. My room is compact & clean. Breakfast is served at the cafeteria in the station. The breakfast is perfect.
- Weird accusations from house keeping!
If you are searching for a short stay between long trip- that place might fit. For those who has problem with sleep- might be a bit too noisy from early morning. Few words about ladies on reception -cafe. They been very nice and made late breakfast, which they shouldnt, cause its me being late on breakfast.
Nice of them. But than part of a bad experience - lady on reception denied my prolongation of stay due to fake reason . As i been explained ,that house keeping said i been smoking in the room, i cant find words to describe my disappointment, cause its a lies, i dont know how she could say smth like that and whats the intention? So basically lies.
If you don't want meet accusations in smth you have not done and meet weird behaviour - better avoid - Ok overnatting. Helt ok å overnatte der, men det var svært enkelt. Jeg vil nok velge et annet hotell med litt mer comfort. Var mye bråk fra tog og info på høytaler om natten.

- Low cost and very price worthy Beautiful, but very small room located in a nice centrally placed hotel. Very good bed.
- Loved the backstory on the hotel and how the building was re-purposed. While the rooms are small, they look and feel great - the heated floors in the bathroom were a nice surprise!
My room was one of the upper floors, so there some great views to be had. Rooftop bar is a great addition - wonderful cocktails and panoramic views. - Hadde to rolige overnattinger på hotellet. Rent og koselig rom. Hyggelig personale.
Frokosten, servert på Egon restaurant, hadde variert utvalg av brød og pålegg og var delikat presentert. - Very nice property, great top floor bar with views, excellent breakfast and most of all the desk staff was exceptional - they identified that our long distance drive for the day included a major road closure (E6) due to an avalanche and identified alternate routes that saved our day.
